LensCulture Portrait Awards 2023

The 10th annual LensCulture Portrait Awards are now open for submissions! This year, LensCulture are looking to discover and recognize more than 35 talented photographers creating extraordinary new photographic portraits.

The 2023 LensCulture Portrait Awards are open to photographers at all levels of experience, and all genres of portraiture are welcome — from professional studio shoots, to detailed environmental portraits, to casual candids. The awards are open to all types of artistic approaches, too, including staged, fiction, fashion, metaphoric, self-portrait and conceptual work.

The winners of this year’s awards will be featured at the LensCulture Discoveries exhibition in New York City. Winners also receive extensive global media coverage, projection at several international photography festivals, cash prizes, and more.

The total prize cash fund for 2023 is $10,000, divided between six award winners. Each juror will select an individual Juror’s Pick to receive special distinction. 25 Finalists will be selected.

For 18 years, LensCulture has been committed to helping photographers of all levels move forward creatively and professionally.
