The competition is open to artists from around the world
Short description
The competition is hosted by the Ino-cho Paper Museum, a museum of Japanese traditional paper based in Ino, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan.
“ Since the exhibition is hosted in Kochi, a world-class producer of Japanese traditional paper, artwork submissions are limited to those that use paper as the primary material. Every three years, the Exhibition unfolds new worlds of woodblock art with its warmth and richness of expression.
All entries must be original prints on paper. The maximum paper size is 100 x 100 cm (40 x 40 inches).
Artists can submit a maximum of three works.

Entry fee
The entry fee for artists from Japan is ¥ 9,000. If the entrant submits his/her work from overseas, they will be exempt from the entry fee.
Prizes
• 1st Prize: 1,000,000 yen
• 2nd Prize: 500,000 yen
• 3rd Prize: 300,000 yen
• 4th Prize: 200,000 yen
• The Museum of Art, Kochi Prize: 300,000 yen
• Takao Hiwasaki Prize: 300,000 yen
• Tosa Washi Prize: 200,000 yen
