ENS Lumière Summer University calls for Iranians artists
Are you an artist, author, director and do you want to train in documentary sound creation? Apply for the ENS Lumière Summer University!
The program runs for 7 weeks, from July 10 to August 25, 2023.
It is aimed at young Iranian professionals between the ages of 25 and 35 residing in Iran.
The program offers an introduction to the culture and history of radio documentary, as well as hands-on experience in recording and editing. From theoretical courses and practical exercises, listening to works, the students will then produce their own sound documentaries, directly experiencing each step of the process. They will benefit from professional advice.
The program is structured around 3 components:
• Theoretical and practical training in sound writing
• Production of a radiophonic work (documentary) in pairs, in the language of their choice
• Discovery of the French ecosystem of radiophonic creation / podcast ; meeting with industry professionals
ENS Louis-Lumière
ENS Louis-Lumière is a major public school dedicated to careers in cinema, photography and sound. Created in 1926 under the impetus of personalities such as Louis Lumière or Léon Gaumont, a pioneer of cinema and photography schools, the School moved to the Cité du Cinéma in July 2012 in the Paris region.
Participation
The training will take place in English. The current practice of the English language written, spoken, read is obligatory.
Candidates must be between 25 and 35 years old, of Iranian nationality and residing in Iran.

Living expenses The living
expenses of the selected Iranian candidate are covered (plane tickets, visa costs, training and living grant).
