2023 The BBA Photography Prize awards emerging international photographers for their contributions to the world of photography. Photographers are chosen by the jury for their skills in the field of lens-based media. Several prizes are awarded including cash prizes, a solo show & more.
Hosted at one of the city’s most iconic locations for art and cultural events, Kühlhaus Berlin, the BBA Photography Prize is a place to discover the names of tomorrow. You can enjoy a diverse range of contemporary photography.
Visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship, subject depth, and understanding – these are just a few aspects that the jury of industry professionals will take into consideration. Whether you are a seasoned photographer with an existing track-record, a promising talent starting your journey, or simply enthusiastic about photography, the BBA Photography Prize 2023 is a great opportunity to show your work.
All work submitted must be available exclusive for sale throughout the exhibition and four weeks after if sales are made through BBA Gallery.
Entry fee is 39 EUR (approx. 42 USD) until 15 May 2023, 10 EUR more afterwards.

Open to anyone worldwide, above 18 years
Prize
20-25 selected shortlisters will exhibit in a group show at Kühlhaus Berlin, in October/November 2023. The first prize is 1,500 Euro + a solo show at BBA Gallery.
